The reservation

Payment

The reservation becomes effective when we have received your deposit (30% of the price of the stay). The balance is to be paid 15 days before your arrival at the latest. The customer who has not paid the balance on the agreed date is considered to have canceled his stay. In this case, the cottage is again offered for rent and no refund is made. For stays booked less than 15 days before the arrival date, the total amount of the stay is due upon reservation.

The security deposit is compulsory

It is paid when the keys are collected and its amount is € 1,500, in the form of an uncashed check.

The little extras

The little extras on offer must be ordered 48 hours in advance.

Tourist tax

This is perceived by the community of commune of Lisieux Intercom. As the cottage is classified 4 *, the tourist tax is € 1.00 per night and per adult (included in the prices).

Cancellation

Insurance is strongly recommended. 

Any cancellation must be notified to the owner by letter or email addressed to the house m (Sylvain and Valérie Lecroq, 6 grande rue, 14270 Percy-en-Auge, lamaisonmnormandie@gmail.com).

If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the start of the stay, the deposit paid is refunded. If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the start of the stay, the entire stay is deemed to have been acquired at the house m. If the stay is shortened, the sums paid remain with the owner. No refund will be made. The amount of the tourist tax is returned regardless of the date of cancellation.

We welcome you between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

In case of delay or late arrival, please let us know at (33) 06 77 35 41 95 so that we can organize and welcome you in the best conditions, because we need time to prepare the house after each departure , do maintenance, exteriors, etc ...

The state of play

On your arrival, we will proceed together to an inventory.

Capacity - IMPORTANT

The contract is established for a specific number of people (10 people). If the number of people exceeds the capacity indicated in the quote / contract, the owner is able to refuse additional customers. This refusal can in no case be considered as a modification or a rupture at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of departure of the number of customers higher than those refused, no refund can be considered. The house and the swimming pool are to be used by tenants only. 

Use of the premises
The customer must respect the peaceful character of the place and make use of it in accordance with their destination. 

Your departure

Schedules

On the day of departure, it is imperative to vacate the premises before 10 a.m. (11 a.m. for short stays of 2 to 4 nights). An earlier departure is always possible. Please let us know the day before. In the event of no subsequent rental, it is also possible to stay a little longer in the house by warning us in advance.

The initial state of play

When you leave, we will do an inventory together.

The security deposit

The security deposit is returned on the day of your departure if the exit inventory does not show any damage or loss or a return of the premises too dirty. In the event of early departure (prior to the time mentioned in this document), the security deposit is returned within a period not exceeding 7 days, after deduction of any repair or redemption costs. Any loss or damage will be invoiced at the price of the new item and deducted from the security deposit.

Household chores

The cleaning asks us for a minimum of 5 hours for 2 people (excluding exterior), so we ask you to respect the cottage and return it in the state of cleanliness that you liked to find it on arrival.

Your stay

Animals and smokers

Animals are not accepted and the house is non-smoking. But you can smoke outside ashtrays are at your disposal.

Use of the premises

Children are the sole and entire responsibility of their parents.

Regarding the hens on the premises, it is indicated what it is possible to feed them or not in the kitchen. The vegetable garden is not freely accessible, but it happens that we often offer products from the garden to the guests present.

General informations

  • The house is non-smoking but ashtrays are available in the garden.

  • We provide you with trash bags for the duration of your stay, don't forget to put the trash cans under the outside staircase, provided for this purpose.

  • You will have no problem parking on the site, the gate is automated.

  • The garden must remain a peaceful place where it is good to rest. We ask everyone to respect the tranquility of the neighborhood, even if there is no vis-à-vis.

  • The supply of clean linen is provided if necessary. You do not have to wash the household linen (sheets, towels, tea towels).

  • We visit regularly during your stay to ensure the quality of the water in the swimming pool (and put the cleaning robot if necessary), for the vegetable garden and the chickens.
